Ingredients:
Pre-made Pizza dough.
Butter or garlic butter and olive oil.
Method:
This is best done on a gas hob because ceramic hobs fluctuate in temperature, they cycle
which is just what they do.
Roll the dough which should be at room temperature into small balls.
Shape them with your hands into either round or oval portions, you may use a rolling pin if the dough remains too springy. This is why it needs to be at room temperature.
Use a dry frying pan and bring up to a medium or high heat setting - no oil at this stage.
Cook for one or two minutes on each side and look for charred blistered spots, this will be difficult on a ceramic hob - but try, you may need more time.
I found I needed to spray my pan with a little olive oil (using ceramic hob), you may have to repeat the process.
When cooked to your satisfaction brush with a little garlic butter, butter or olive oil.
Serve warmed.
